this is my first honda install and i'm having trouble getting it finished. i am using a can-sl from bypasskits.com and an ultrastart 2 way rs system. everything is working great (doors, trunk, hood pin...etc.) except the remote start. the ultrastart shows it detected and learned the tach signal, but when i rs, it cranks but does not start. i adjusted the crank time, it will crank for well over 5 seconds to no avail. tried rs with the key in the ignition and get the same result. when starting with the key it is fine. only thing i can see is maybe the transponder ignition wire needs to be hooked up even with the databus module. i will try that now and see what happens. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

First off what is the bypass kit model number ( CAN-SL is a Fortin piece not a Bypasskits.com piece ) 2nd, if it is infact a CAN-SL you have the worng module from Fortin. You need the KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL or the HONDA SL3/SL2 for the transponder bypass.

The CANSL and CAN SL2 doesn't do transponder bypass.
