need to get this info, got the car sitting here right now, its not the same as a 07, looks like an 08 legacy under the dash but with different wire colors. anyone got em?

I'm on a Subaru forum and nobody there has posted any info yet. I do know that the 08 now uses the CAN BUS system. Good luck....and post your results if you could.

here is the info i got.

12volt, white, ign harness

ignition, green, ign harness

starter, WHITE/ black, ign harness

2nd starter, WHITE/ red, ign harness

accessory, blue, ign harness

2nd accessory, yellow, ign harness

lock (-), lt. green, BIU 35 pin plug, pin 15

unlock (-), blue/black, BIU 35 pin plug, pin 29

parking lights (-), BLACK/ white, BIU 26 pin plug, pin 11

trunk release (reverse pol), BLACK/ blue, BIU 35 pin plug, pin22

brake, lt green, BIU 26 pin plug, pin 2

tach, gray/red, instrument cluster

thats all you need for remote start and keyless.  the factory alarm must be disabled because there is no way to disarm it without the factory keyfob. BIU is located to the right of the sterring column just like the legacys.  The plugs are all labeled by how many pins there are in them.  hope this info helps some of you out.
