Unit make/model?

Vehicle make/model/yr/trim package/doors?

If it is for gas only, you can NOT use it on desiel bc you have to wait out for the ignition priming, aka "desiel light timer."

Can't answer until we know make/model/year etc. BUT some vehicles use an extra cold weather priming circuit at ignition, it shows up with the starter as a "second starter" wire.

Don't seem to be able to do that in cold mode, look like you have no choice. In diesel mode you would have a predetermined time delay start.
