I have a Autopage RS-855 in my 98 Integra. It recently started acting up. When I would press the arm it wasn't arming. I pulled it out and disconnected everything and put it back in, still nothing.

I disconnect the ignition wire and try arming it. It works. I put it back in and it stops working. It's obvious that it has something to do with the ignition wire. For some reason the alarm thinks the ignition is always on. When I put the ignition wire back on the brain the doors automatically lock but still no response.

I know without the ignition wire in the alarm isn't able to reset itself but its the only way I could get the alarm to function.

Do you guys think the problem is the alarm brain? The person that originally installed it told me that it probably is the brain going bad. The alarm is about 2 years old.

I figured it out. I had the constant 12v from the fuse box connected to the alarm at the same time my fake alarm LED was connected to. Unhooked the fake LED and it started working again
