Well I have read both install manuals and it seems there is only one mention of interfacing the 800esp with the valet 551t:

So I have a few questions?

Wont activating the remote start trigger the alarm?
both via vibration sensor and the ignition sensor?

Does the alarm have to be disarmed to remote start?

Is there a way to remote start while the alarm is armed,
or at least a way to keep the doors locked?

Read the descriptions for each of the inputs, if I remember correctly there is a wire that you would activate with the status output of the 551T. When an aux channel is activated, this wire looks for a negative input and bypasses triggers until it no longer sees a ground.
