Hi I'm having a problem with my dome light when I turn off the switch the bulb goes off but there is still current going through and draining my battery. Does anyone know what could be causing the current to continue to flow even with the switch off.

How do you know there is still current going through the dome light?  Did this happen right after you installed an alarm?  Should we asume we are dealing with a Corolla?

On the amp meter I have when I pulled the dome light fuse out thats when the drain stopped so i kind of figure it has something to do with the dome. I have it hooked up to my alarm system but It has been working fine for a while up until recently

How is it you are attempting to "test" this circuit. Of course voltage will "be gone' when you pull a fuse.

You are using domelight supervision? Or are you refering to the fact you are monitering the door pins via the dome light?

The fuse for your domelight could power more than your domelight.  What happens if you remove the domelight bulb itself.  Put the fuse back in and take the bulb out.  If it is still pulling current try disconnecting the harness from your radio.  Check with amp meter again.   Then try disconnecting the alarm brain.  Check again.     Also have your battery tested.  It may just be a failing battery.
