I bought my mom a TC and started to put the remote start in. I've worked as an installer for a few years so I know what I'm doing...kind of.
I can't for the life of me find the Lock and Unlock wires, would you guys recommend going directly to the switch through the door boot? or is there an easier way?
Also, I'm using an Autopage RS-622 which has voltage sense for the remote start (for lazy people), is it safe to use? or should I just run the Tach wire? Any help will be appreciated.

For your door lock wires, look in the harness coming in the kick panel from the door.
Run the tach connection, especially on a vehicle that age. This way on the very cold days it will start correctly instead of not starting until the third attempt.
------------- Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Does it change colors when it gets into the car?...cause I looked one by one...then again, I was doing this outside....in Chicago...in the cold. So my focus might have been off.

usually cars always change colour while going throught the door. Do it in a warm garage =D well as far as tach, i suggest u run it to the tach connector. Dont use voltage, its not as reliable. Also to make it simple for u, when u run the siren wire, run the tach as well to make it simple.

A warm garage is a luxury, I got it into my girlfriends garage (the car!) and it stuck out about 4 inches....(again, the car)....haha. I couldn't close the garage, and I was working in the cold.
