Are these still around? I have a Prestige APs-2 that I would like to add a relay and power lock actuator to, or if that is not possible, uninstall it completely and put in a newer system. Either way it would be helpful to have a Prestige schematic. Thanks, Brad

Never heard of APS-2, about how old is it?
At any rate, most Audiovox systems should have a two-pin plug on the side of the brain. Shouldn't be hard to test which is lock and which is unlock.

The APS-2 is from the 90's. I'm fairly certain the wiring harness colors are the same as their current models. When I get a chance, I'll see if I have an old manual laying around. ------------- the12volt • Support the12volt.com

yes I believe the APS is from between 1992 and 1995. The car is a 93 and I bought in 95 with the APS-2 installed. This has a single button remote, so I wanted to integrate a keyless entry system with it via a actuator and relay, as most other people with this car, I keep twisting keys in the lock due to a bad design.

if u have a black control with one button lock/unlock and a green button next to it, all the modules during that times use the Red and Green wires. This system was installed in an Accord my sister owns and i removed htat for a new system.

so will the red-green pins reverse voltage based on arm/disarm, or will I need the relay in between the alarm module and the power door actuator?

you will need to use the 2 relays for actuators or reverse polarity, check door lock diagrams and it should show u
