My recommendation for a security/alarm is DEI, something like the Avital 4400/Hornet 564T. Easy to install (IMO)and very reliable. For bypassing your Passlock I recommend the GMBP by trilogix(bypasskit.com). The GMBP is by far the easiest way to bypass that system. ------------- Installer, IT support, and FFL. Posted By: mobile1 Date Posted: December 01, 2007 at 8:30 PM The GMBP will do passlock II and I believe thats what he meant. The 5900 and 7900 are great units. Both reliable and pretty straight forward. The only issue I've seen with DEI 2way remotes, are sometimes the remote stops receiving a signal from the vehicle. The features still work in the vehicle, just not 2waying. There are some loose solder joints on the circuit board of the remote that can be re-soldered and it will work again. Not a common problem but I have seen it more than once.
