Hi,

I recently baught a alarm, KeyLess Entry, and Remote Starter system LCD for my 1992 CAMARO RS.  There are 3 relays for the ignition wires, and 1 for the Kill relay. I have a picture to the wiring diagram in the link below:

https://members.aol.com/GUSHANAS/Diagram1.jpg

The 12 Pin harness which has the trunk release, keyless entry, siren, lights, etc. is hooked up and everything works fine!  BUT the 9 Pin harness which is the Remote Starter does not. If the button on the LCD Remote is pushed nothing happens not even a click out of any of the 4 relays.  I have it wired as follows:

YELLOW - Start kill relay output =kill relay yellow

-BLUE On Kill Relay - ACC = Orange ACC. wire in ignition harness

-GREEN 1 + 2 - between ignition wire and coil

ORANGE - Foot Brake Imput = Light blue on foot brake

BLUE - Doog Trig. Imput = White on door kick panel / door trigger

WHITE - ACC. = to BLACK Door Unlock

BLACK/ WHITE - Window Module Output = ??????? i donno where it goes?!?

PURPLE - Starter Sensing Imput = rapped around coil wire 8 times

YELLOW + BROWN + BLUE = connected to plug then plug to relays

YELLOW - Start = YELLOW

BROWN - ON1 (ignition Coil) = Pink

BROWN - ON2 = ORANGE ACC. WIRE

BLUE - ACC. = ORANGE

RED - +12V = to 1 of 2 constant red wires

pleaseeee help me out anyone!!!!!!! i am desprite and tryed everything possible!!!!!!

Thanks,

Brett

I am not sure what brand the unit is from the diagram, but some starters require you learn the tach signal before it will even try to remote start. Some require you to initialize the unit too. Check your manual to see of there is anything that you need to do after installation is complete and before you attempt to start it for the first time.
