i have a prestige aps610 in an 02 f250. i just got the remote start addon for it hook it all up works good except when you shut the truck off and the alarm is armed it sets off the alarm because the dome light comes on automatically on my truck when the ignition is shut off. is there any way around this?

sounds like your door trigger is connected to the dome light. try BLUE/BLACK (+) BOTTOM OF FUSE PANEL PIN 20&23 *

i don't think there is a way to do it on the f250's.
mine lists BLACK/ blue Above parking brake in DKP. you can try it but i think thats just the dome light wire. the door pins rest at nothing and would require a relay to make them work.
edit: actually, i don't think you can access the door pins except inside the doors at the switches. f250's are lame.

u need to program u r audiovox unit to allow domelight supervision. the unit will watch for the domelight, once the domelight has turned off, one second after, it will arm.
