Hi guys.

Issues with this truck are basically false alarming. Definitely door triggers causing the false.

All doors dioded, all from BCM. Vehicle is entry level, no power lock or windows. Alarm is Galaxy 5000 from Scytek.

And of course, the thing does not do anything wrong while in the shop!

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Luke

They are isolated using 2 diodes each trigger, right?

Try changing it to the dome light trigger to see if the falsing stops.

Yeah, well, 1 diode per door...so double dioded in that there are 2 diodes.

I just called Scytek, they said the same as you...get the trigger from the dome itself.

Thanks!

Each trigger requires 2 diodes not just one each.

Here is Audiovox's information on the subject: https://documents.audiovox.com/700699.pdf
