so i am putting an autopage remote start with DEI 556hw bypass module on a 99 accord and I am having trouble with the module. after I program the module it says to turn off key then turn it back on to confirm its programmed, once i do that the l.e.d. light does not come back on confirming this. can someone please provide me with what color wires need to be hooked up to just so I can make sure I have it wired right. if i leave the key in the ignition it starts. any help will be greatly appreciated

Are you using the black key to program the bypass?

i dont think the modual can confirm that its programmed. Just remote start it and see if it works, if it does then its programmed correctly.

did you try remote starting the vehicle, despite the lack of LED confirmation of programming?

i could post word for word what the install manal says but it does say that it will confirm that it is programmed. i am absolutely baffled, cuz like i said the directions for what wires are to be connected on the car side is basically worthless.

I hope you aunt appreciates the deed u did for her ! now she can get in a warm car. thats a super xmas gift i would say ahahahah CHEERS ! btw, ur not the only 1 to get lost, for sure the manual was confusing. I stared it it for a good 20 min before typing my reply =). That is why i use FORTIN and BYPASSKITS, not DEI, they super vague onthe manuals.
