I have a Valet 554T out of a Tahoe that I was thinking about putting in my Buick, but when I went looking for the wires I was not to sure about finding them. The lock and unlock wires say in the drivers kick panel, but I was not able to find them, also the light switch is on the door, so do I need to pull a wire to the door an connect at the light switch for parking lights and if so is there a easy way to pull the ligh switch with out pulling the door panel off. The other thing is the trunk wire. I was wondering if there is a easy way to pull the trunk switch from the dash with out having to pull the whole dash.

According to this information the door lock wires are accessible in the passenger kick panel not the driver's.

The parking lights are available in the driver's kick panel, brown in the harness that runs to the rear of the car.

That chart also shows a black negative in the driver's kick panel for trunk release.

Thanks for the information. I had that info printed out, but had left it at work, so I will look at all of this again tomorrow. Also I have done a few alarms and have all ways used relays to do the door locks, but when the Valet alarm was removed from the Tahoe the 456G was removed. I was wondering if it is worth finding the manual on this or should I just use relays for the door locks. I have looked here and on the web with out any luck on the 456G manual. Thanks again.

The 456G only works on trucks. Your car is simple positive triggers for door locks. I can not find a manual for the 554T but if it offers only negative outputs for door locks you will need to use relays to make them positive. If the system offers low current positive/negative outputs then you will not need relays for the door lock interfacing.

Thanks for the reply. I looked at it some more today and realized what the 456G does and decided I did not need it. Well this looks like it may not matter. I had most the wires hooked up to day and decided to check the polarity on the light output before I hooked them up and the unit would not do anything. I had power to the unit, so I guess now I either have to buy another unit or try to get this one fixed.

Allright I figure out what was wrong with the brain and now have it working. The brain is actuall a Valet 554R. It was installed in a 2005 Tahoe and when the shop done the install they removed some of the leads out of the H3 Remote Start 6 pin harness. I only have three leads in the harness, but figure I can move them around where I need them.  I figure I need the hood pin swithc Grey wire, the brake switch brown wire and the tach Viole/white. I just want to make sure I have these in the right places before I plug the connector in. Theu are shown on pins 3, 4 and 5. They way I see it if looking at the brain from the bottom you count the pins from left to right. Is this correct. If not can some one tell me where these leads should be.

Looking at where the antenna plugs in the pin closest to antenna is the BLACK/ white neutral safety input wire. This wire needs to see ground for the remote start to work. The next pin is your violet/white tachometer input, the next one is the brown + shutdown brake input, the next pin is the gray hood pin - shutdown input. The next to last pin is the low current negative third ignition output, the last pin furthest away from the harness is blue status output wire.

So I will actually need four leads if I am planning on using the hood pin, tach, and brake, because I will also have to have the neutral switch lead. If I remeber correctly the hood pin has to see ground, but you are saying the neutral switch has to see ground also.
