When i looked at the wire info on this site it says

12v, starter, 3 ignitions acc. this is for both

On the astrostart site it says

For gmc: 12v, 2 starters, 2 Ignitions and acc

for chev: 12v, 1 starter, 2 ignitons.

the reason i ask is i have a 96 gmc to do on saturday and will be using an autostart 2451 and was wondering if i need to use any relays

for some reason i have a hard time wiring them up unless theres pics. So any help would be great

GMC and Chevy have always been the same. I have NEVER seen a 96 GM truck with 2 starter wires. Where exactly did you find a chart that listed 2 starter wires?

You should not need any additional relays for that truck. Your system provides the jumper-selectable 5th relay correct. Set that 5th output to be ignition, make sure you power both ignitions and the first accessory (orange) and you should be good to go.
