Hey might be a stupid question but i have been using relays and such for immobilizer bypasses on vehicles. I recently started using the idatalink bypasses and was wondering if there is anywhere i can go that is al ittle more specific as far as the wire colors that are in the immobilizer plug itself instead of just process of elimination for the RX and TX wires on the cylinder itself. Which brings me to another question what exactly are the rx and tx wires and is there anyway that i can test for them.

well the RX and TX wires can only be found at the ignition cylinder itself (direct beam wih key) the only way is to have a actauly wiring chart of the RX and TX wires. The

TX - Transfer
RX - Receiver

allows the unit to send info right to the computer. So that prevents the loss of a key and lots of wire and a relay.
