And I can't get the door locks/unlocks to work.

If I connect my green and blue wires from my 457 the locks will unlock.
Other than that I cannot get my doors to lock or unlock.

Can somebody give me a run down where each of my wires go?

You should have those two purple wires with the fuse connected to ground.

and then alarm GREEN/ black to 457G green, and

alarm blue/black to 457G blue.

Works, well half-way.

The doors will unlock but won't lock?
Any ideas?

Update:

I get a (-) 0.001 Pulse from the Blue/Black when it unlocks
But I don't get anything from the GREEN/ Black wire when I try to lock the doors

Two quick questions:

1. Right now, where do you have each of the six wires from the alarm connected?

2. What happens if you manually take the green wire from the 457G, and touch it to chassis ground in the car?

But, from what you say, the GREEN/ black wire of the alarm isn't making an output.

The two wires together with the fuse......the PURPLE / black and the purple, should both have a ground.

A good thing would be to probe each of those wires, and test them, to make sure there's not a faulty crimp in the fuseholder.

1. They aren't connected to anything

BLACK/ White    DomeLight Supervision relay Input #87 Not Used
WHITE/ Black    Lock #87a Normally Closed              Not used
GREEN/ Black    Lock #30 Common (Output)To Green 457G
Violet/Black* Lock #87 Normally Open (Input)          To Ground
BROWN / Black    Unlock #87A Normally Closed            Not Used
Blue Black     Unlock #30 Common (Output)             To Blue 457G
Violet*        Unlock #87 Normally Open (Input)       To Ground

2. If I touch the green wire to the chassis, nothing happens. If I touch the blue wire to the chassis, the doors unlock.

I just got and successfully installed a DEI 561T (Remote Start). It has (-) door lock outputs:
1 - Green - (-) Lock Output
2 - Empty - Not Used
3 - Blue - (-) Unlock Output

I tried to wire these to my 457G, but they didn't work. There is no manual covering how to use them w/ a 561T. How do I wire my door locks through my remote start add on module?

Hmm.

If touching the 457G's blue wire to ground unlocks the doors, then it must be installed properly.

If touching the green wire to ground doesn't lock the doors, then something other than your wiring has to be wrong.

I think the 457G has to be initialized a certain way, based on whether or not you have factory keyless entry....was that done according to the manual?

Also, on most GM products, there's delayed locking if you try to lock the doors while open. Try grounding the 457G's green wire twice, or try closing all the doors first.

I've programmed the 457G, and my trailblazer didn't have a factory alarm or keyless entry.

I'll try grounding and closing all the doors.
