Can anyone tell me where the wait to start wire is on an 08 Ford Super Duty 6.4l Diesel? I set the truck to delay 15sec and customer is telling me that it doesn't start most times if the truck has been sitting for more than a couple hours. I used a pku-f2 bypass. Hoping that isn't the problem as he says it starts no problems when the truck is warm.

How long do you have the starter set to "crank" for, and what did you use for tach?

there is no wait to start wire, 15 seconds is plenty of wait.

tach is tricky, if you have a unit that can do voltage sense use it with max crank time set.

i use the small GREEN / WHITE i think it is?   for tach which is inside the car running kind or above the ebrake release.   its w/ a group of wires that are small and get cut w/ black ends on them.  i use that w/ the 18 sec delay my units have and bingo everytime
