honda door locks are Negative trigger or known as Type B

Lock - Pink/Black (-) located under dash @ MICU*. Pin 25 in a Green plug
Unlock - Pink/Blue (-) located under dash @ MICU*. Pin 9 in a Green plug

*MICU is part of underdash relayfuse box.  The plugs are hard to get to since they sit on the left hand side edge.

good luck

Hi there i have an 05 Honda Accord coupe, could you mount the unit behind the door panel,I mean you have your 12v constant 12v keyed door locks, etc. Would it hurt anything to mount it there?

Do you have an EX or LX? This is one of the few cars where it makes a difference.

umm i dont think thats the brightest idea. ur limited to space. plus u have to run wires back to the door molex to kick panel. doing that alone will kick u in th ebutt. it will take really long. just hide it up in ur dash and tape it up/loom it good. doesnt matter if u wired it and hid it, as long as the theif wants to cut the power to ur alarm, he will easily.

I wouldn't think about it.  There is way too much moisture in the door.

Test it w/your meter!!!

everytime you close your door, you would be abusing the unit pretty bad too

I did that once in an older Civic.

It worked out perfectly, and the car never came back.

But, when I reached the point where I was halfway done, and it was too late to turn back, I started to regret it.......there were quite a few wires that had to be run back inside the car.

I have hid a compustar inside a gutted out subaru factory subwoofer box under the passenger seat. Never gonna do that again. Nobody wants to pay extra for that type of work.

if u have the proper wires with a negative pulse, it will work without a problem. it just might be that ur wires are wrong. Always check with a digital volt meter. the wires are located in my post on page 1.

Thant looks right to me, check them with a multimeter and make sure that they are the correct wires(on both the car and the brain).
