the car does use a bypass, but the xk 531  will do everything for you. it will do transponder, locks, factory alarm, door pin, trunk release, and ur second starter wire. its basically an all in one unit.

The car does not have a bypass. Are you just installing a remote starter if so you just need a resistor and a relay to do the second starter.

it will do the 2nd starter without using the relay and resistor, please explain this if you can

well yes it is true u can do it with a relay and starter. to prevent hassle of using a crap load of resistors u might want to use the xk 531. if ur willing to take ur time to buy resistors etc, then by all means, go ahead. To do a second start, the car requires a second start through 180ohms (-).

if u want to wire with a relay, wirelike so

85 - ground out when running from remote start.
86 - Starter wire from remote start, ur unit might have a 200ma output for start to drive an extra relay.
87 - high current ground from chassis
30 - to 180ohm resistor and connect that to the second start wire PURPLE / BROWN (-)
