This isn't a technical based post, so hopefully its not in the wrong spot, but I just had to share this awesome story from today. I may have just out-done myself this time. Got an email earlier for a price quote for a starter in a 2011 Dodge Caliber.. which can be a PITA car; so I told the guy I would do it for $250. He came back saying that a certain local shop would do it for $260 with a warranty. I replied back to him explaining how there are few local shops in the area that actually take pride in their quality, and that they can charge the lower amount because they just throw the starter in with whatever method they choose (usually t-taps) in order to get it done quickly enough to still make a profit. And at the end of the email I added:
"The easiest way to explain it is with this quote by a great man...'Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me.'" After sending it, I lol'd pretty hard....

About an hour later I get this response from the guy: "'Yea well you can get a good look at a butcher by stickin your head up there but, wait it has to be your bull. ahh well'... how about $225 even?"

With a response like that, I just had to agree to do it for the $225.

Evo-chr with the T-Harness CHR2 makes the install super easy. i wired up a 2006 magnum with the same setup, took me 70 min for prep+install and cleanup. and happy custy was on his way.

I was going to do the DB-All but I'll look into that as well.

This is actually going to work out perfectly. A couple weeks ago I ordered what I thought was the EVO-All but they ended up sending me the EVO-CHR. I was about to send that back but I figured hey, I have it, I might as well use it. Then I open it up to find out that it is the bypass and the CHR2 t-harness. I don't think it could have been any more perfect.. lol.
