Does anybody have suggestions for a rear view camera? I have really dark rear windows and its hard to see behind me, especially at night even with the reverse lights. Another problem is that I can't put it in my trunk keyhole, for "Dad would kill me reasons", so any other suggestions? I've searched the internet and found someone who used a circuit board camera, made a housing for it with a clear window, to mount i'm assuming under the car. Any other suggestions?

We have one that is small enough to go into the license plate hole and connects to a 5" LCD display. If interested please contact me at techsupport@velocitymotorsport.com ------------- Jeff

If you are looking for an easier solution to the problem of rear obstacle avoidance check out the ROSS system available from Rostra Precision Controls. No maintennance and great warranty. Check it out at www.rostra.com
Oh yeah, I'm also a dealer so let me know if you have an interest. It can be mounted behind your rear bumber and is totally hidden to avoid the dad wrath! Take care. ------------- R Jackson

Rostra is available through me @ $215.00 ea.
Remember this system can be mounted behind the bumper with no holes through the polyeurathane surface for sensors! Pretty cool.

Check out the Rostra website
https://www.rostra.com/rostra-obstacle.htm
Then download the installation instructions. This should answer any questions, when installed properly you have no indication that the system is even there from a walkaround of the vehicle. Let me know if you have any more questions. ------------- R Jackson

Hey velocity, I e-mailed you about the camera, got a few more questions, which part in the picture is the camera, where exactly does the camera go, how is it theft-proof, can it be purchased seperately, and if so for about how much? Either e-mail me or post it here, whichever you wish, thanks a lot!

Velocity, Hi there. Do you have any pics of the camera already installed on a vehicle with some good close-up pics. Seems like you might be on to something with this camear but everyone have lots of questions. If you could start with Jon's questions, that would be great: "which part in the picture is the camera, where exactly does the camera go, how is it theft-proof, can it be purchased seperately, and if so for about how much?" ------------- Sheldon :)

The BV-1350 has the camera on the left side on the bottom ( attached to the silver box ). It is theft-proof becuse it is attached onto the license plate hole ( top ) and the camera is threaded into this spot. The camera is not sold separately from the rest of the system at this time.
