Anyone seen those security lasers ?

they sit in the car and project the word SECURITY in red at whatever you care to point it at..

Ive just purchased 4 from autotoys.com

they took about three weeks to arrive but they are pretty cool.

Do you use this instead of a LED or a security light on the dash ?

Ive seen those. whats the purpose for those things? its just to display security or is it an extra sensor?

yeah it just displays security it is like a laser pointer that will put the word security werever you point it.........posted_image

its really just for show they serve no real purpose its like a scanner in a car thats in the same category.

how bright is it?  I suppose that you must have some light colored spot to shine it off, right?  this might be cooler than a red led to let ppl know your alarm is armed.  and how big is the laser?
