I have a class A motorhome with hydraulic levelers and had the control panel go bad on me. I am attempting to put together a series of switches to control the levelers, due to the fact that a replacement board is anywhere between $450 and $600. The valves which control the release of hydro fluid have two wires on them. One wire is a constant positive 12 volts, the second wire is connected to the control panel and when a corresponding button is pushed it grounds the second wire and the pump runs and valve opens forcing down the jack. Valve is only a one way valve and the jacks retract via a spring. Any ideas how to wire some switches to send a ground to the second wire and also power the pump at the same time. I will try to attach the diagram of the electrical connections. Thanks

Dear rddog,
I'm not sure on the system that you have , but most levelers the pump runs pushing the landing gear down , the dump valve brings the landing gear back up ( via a return spring on the landing gear ) . So wiring it is quite simply , supply ground to the pump to go down and supply ground to the dump to send the gear up .
