Why So Smug?

I’m a new member and I just joined the forum a. I e been checking out the 12 using the calculators and such. Good site very helpful. Having delved into the forums a lil bit and reading some of the responses to the questions posed by members I gotta say some of the responses I’ve read are pretty douchy. Ask a question only to have your gear bashed. Someone always has better gear and lots of cats get a hold of what they can and what they can afford. Not every guy or gal on here has mommy and daddies credit cards. And if it isn’t their credit cards that’s buying the gear maybe you have a great job and no wife and no kids so you can buy the JLs and all the DC gear your heart desires. That’s cool but don’t be so smug as to bash a dude for having dual or some pyramid. Just another bass head looking for some advice and kinship. We all feel it and love it. We all have different situations and some of us just do what we can to stay in the hobby. If this gear grew on trees we’d all have the best. Some guys just get by and some just do what they can. I’ve got all massive gear? Is that crap? I’m sure one of you will let me know for a fact that yours is much better. Same a high school same as the union work I do. Douchbags everywhere you look. Fact is old me would pull that gear straight from your trunk and put it right back on the street in someone else’s trunk. But I’m a lil bit older now and my kids cured me of my wicked ways. But I still sometimes root for the bad guy. Be cool to each other man this isn’t a competition it’s a hobby.
