i am wonderinf if anyone could help me with a problem that i have....i am currently working on a 1994 Acura Integra LS and i am installing an alarm.....my problem is that the brake lights don't work, i tested it at the brake switch with a test light and i get no power at all....can anyone please help.

start by checking the fuses

94 acura....ive seen similar probelms with acuras of that time period....your ignition might be dying...somehow almost everything has to go through there on those cars....the brakes might too

Every time I have installed a R.S unit on a honda/Acura and had to tap the brake wire for the shutdown feature I have had trouble. For one they are a pain to get to. Also it looks like the top of the switch just pulls up and off but the real connector to unplug it is at the bottom. If you pull on the top and pull it loose just a little the brake switch will not work. Make sure that the top is snapped down well. Good luck with it!
