I just installed a set of those gooney window washer lights for my girlfriend's sister.  I used a lighted switch on it and was wondering what size fuse to use for this set up(forgot to look at the packageing to check the amp load for the lights, and the lighted switch is one i had in my spare parts box....so i don't know how much amps it pulls either).  Didn't realize my missing fuse settup till the next day.  So now i have to put a fuse on my settup just to keep my girlfriend's sister safe.

i'm thinking like a 5 amp fuse or something around there, am i in the ballpark? bigger or smaller fuse?

They probably use about .5 amps so you should be fine with a 1 amp fuse.
