Do I have to have the actuator controller or can i just use a momentary switch

i dont have it yet m getting it from select products and they said i needed but i was thinking they might just be trying to get commision because most people dont mention a controller

no controller needed. just two relays and two push buttons. will work fine if you dont want a remote keyless entry system.
