Does anyone know how to connect a 10" 4ome 200watt car subwoofer to my computer?

You're nuts, but I guess I'm worse cause I actually did this posted_image  ....in a very unorthodox way I might add.

I brought my sub (in the box) and my car amp into my room by the computer.  I took a spare computer power supply, and hooked it up to power the amp.  Then I just used one of those "Y" cables, and used the "speaker out" of the pc into the amp, and BAAAAM....bass comin' out of the pc into my sub. 

I realize this probably isn't correct or safe to do.  But I tried it for a while in my dorm room at school, and it was ok.  (Only until people complained that it was too loud posted_image )

you can get an AC-DC converter then wire an amp and do what he said above, probably a bit safer than the used power supply, but what the heck......You can buy amped computer speakers that have a 10" subwoofer, I believe boston accustics sells one.
