the pressure switch on my tank has three wires a green black and a red wires. i only know how to wire a two prong switch please help.

I'm not real positive on this one, but here's a few guesses.. One would be that you have an AC pressure switch that needs a common connected to it? Another would be that one of the wires is a turn on/control wire. I would call whoever you got the switch from and confirm it with them.
