What do you guys think about a circuit that monitors the TPS signal, and interrupts the A/C clutch at about 3/4 throttle. I imagine I Could use a modified tach light to get the same result, but my Acura runs too high in the RPM range on the highway.

Any Ideas?

why interupt the circuit  you may just have a problem with your TPS sensor the sensor control your throtle if your RPMs are to high on the freeway i would test the TPS sensor and the circuit before try to modifed the TPS ciriut also so it my make your check engine light come what year acura and what model

GM cars in the 1980s had a vacuum switch that is on with high vacuum, and off with low vacuum, like at full throttle. Many use it for cut-offs such as this.

It is on Monte carlo types just behind the drivers headlight.
