Can someone please explain to me why the military reference(s) their time, based on Zulu time?

I have seen several movies and TV shows as of late that have used that same time zone as their reference.

I have a general idea as to why, but thought I would pick the big brains on this site as to their IMO's

Does this help? Sometimes I have to ask myself, who has more time on their hands you for asking the question or me for looking it up and responding? You ever question yourself or caught yourself doing this?

LOL, That is what had me confused... It was the Greenwich, phrase that they had used.

As to your Q about why?? I think the older you get the more you want to know, that may just be me. posted_image

One of the things I live by is this:

Knowledge is power . . . But, only if you apply that knowledge, in a manner which promotes positive results in others.
