I had someone send me a pm recently that asked if I was a bully. I believe the exact quote was "You seem like the bully of car audio". Is this true? Do I seem like a bully? I am a sarcastic person by nature and I understand that mabye that sarcasim doesnt always come through when typiog in messages but I have the utmost respect for this site and the knowledge contained in it. I know this may not be the best place to post this but since 85% of my posts are here I figured it to be as good as any. In the past I have gotten into little tiffs with people and for that I do not appologize because I felt they were all justified unless I said so otherwise ( remember appoligizing at the end of at least one post because I let something from my personal life bleed over). I hate the fact that I may be thought of in this way and if I am I would love to know it so I can change it. Its like 1:00 am here know so I am out but hope to hear back, either good or bad, and I dont want any type of suger coating either. If I am an a***ole than I am an a***ole and I will deal with it but if not and it was only one persons opinion then I will deal with it on a personal level with him.

I know that we have disagreed about some things, but I never thought of you as a bully. In fact on the things we did disagree on, I thought you handled yourself very maturely and politely. Steven Kephart Adire Audio -------------

Don't worry man. Screw them. Lets keep it honest hear. I need real, accurate, raw info and opinions. I can turn on the tv and get plenty of filtered, garbage. This forum is alive and crackin'. Lets keep it that way. I'm glad you hurt someone's feelings with your opinion because they probably needed that. Can't be so "sensitive" in todays times. Different strokes for different folks. Just like some people love Audiobahn, but not me. Besides, when I see your screenname - RAVENDARAT, I always think " RAVE AND RANT" and I mean that in a good way ------------- BOOM, BOOM, BOOM BOOM....

I agree with MBZ oe. The good thing about getting your feelings hurt, it lets you know that you still have them. Helluva lot better then being a cold bitter person. We can all seem like A***oles in some of the posts, but sometimes things just need to be said that aren't very nice, and I am glad that there are still people around with enough juevos to do it. Nuff said.

you answered a question of mine not too long ago, and im very hurt by the truth. You should be banned from these forums because you know so much.
...
rather have 1 of you on these forums than 10 other people that dont know what they are talking about

Raven, Some people just can't stand the truth or when others disagree with them. But if they think you are a bully that's their opinion. We all know that an opinion is like an azz, everyone has one. I log on to the 12volt everyday and think that everyone handles himself or herself with professionalism. We all may seem a little pushy at times but that's our feelings in regards to what we believe in. All in all I don't think your bullish just expressing your opinion and passing on knowledge...

I have never had to delete one of your posts and what I remember, your information is accurate. Typing in forums is the worst when it comes to emotions and such because you can not tell how a person is trying to communicate with you and what their intentions are aside from what is written. I believe that the information that most member's post here are indeed truthful and accurate ( in their minds ), but unless convinced otherwise by other's member's, they will have their own beliefs on that certain topic. There was a post i read the other day, not sure who wrote it, think it was you(looked and could not find it), went something like this: "You twat. We need someone fulltime to run around the forums fixing the mis-information you spread." I loved it. Some people are mis-informed, some people lack knowledge, some people are twats who spread their stoopid ideas and opinions on the internet. That’s the spirit! Some things need to be said. More then once I have read a post and thought I should respond with some smartass remark to set them straight, but im new and minding my myself for a while. You often make those remarks for me and I feel ok about letting something slide. Car audio is what I come to these forums for. I think we all share a passion for it and when your passionate about something your feelings tend to get involved. Some people cannot take a criticism or correction to their beliefs without taking a hit to their ego. Thus, feelings get hurt sometimes, you big 12volt bully. Besides anyone who can appreciate Mallrats enough to quote Brodie in their sig line is gonna be a sarcastic sh*t and thats fine by me.

You always give solid advice and good, well thought out reasons for your opinions. I for one really enjoy your input and I appreciate your contribution to the board. You are one of the people whose posts I always make sure to read because I know you have something good to say. Even if I disagree with you on something, I have nothing but respect for your opinion, and enjoy that you aren't afraid to share your feelings. Keep it up man! Thanks, I do what I can BTW: what do you think of your 4004T ? I'm thinking of getting a 4 channel for my set up instead of the 3 channels that i have now. ------------- Jeff

The 4004T has been a solid amplifier for me so far. It is sufficiently clean and powerful that I feel my speakers are the weak spot of my system, rather than the amplifier. I've used the 2 channel version of the amp, the A2002T, on both my sub and a pair of Eclipse 6x9's. It powers the sub well when bridged for only being a 50x2 channel amplifier. The sound is very clean and noise free. I'm not sure if these are due to the amplifier, coincidence, or the result of another component in the loop, but I have noticed a few things: 1) the bass to all 3 speakers I've hooked up has been slightly warm 2) the highs to both the Eclipse and Quart pairs were slightly bright, but very crisp and clean Also, the crossover and gain knobs are a tad funny to work with and of poor build quality. The amps themselves are not the sexiest things in the world, but they are heavy and solid. Given the price you can find it at online, I would buy it again. I feel the money spent on a better amp would be subject to very diminishing gains, while I wish I had spent more money on my main speakers. I like the quarts a lot, but am slightly disappointed with some dryness in their upper midrange. ------------- New Project: 2003 Pathfinder

Well this pretty much put my mind at rest, so to speak. I was kinda concerened, just because this board serves to keep me sain and educate myself. Every single day I log on to this board I learn something new, and I thought I had built a decent reputation for myself on here as being somewhat knowledgable, although after reading a recent thread about wire sizes for speakers I suddenly felt dumber :), and when this person pm'd me and called me a bully I started to kinda question some of my posts and what not. But this has pretty much cleared it up so I will continue to act as I do, butt heads with who I do, express myself as I always have and if this person continues to think I am a bully then, well I dont need to finish off that thought. Thanks for the responses.

That thread on wire size left me lacking to, but that is why I come here. To be enlightened, to learn and help others to the best of my ability. Someday I will understand everything in that thread, it was just to much to bite off at once though.

You are the biggest bully that I know of........ meh, nah, I'm bigger. I'm opinionated I admit, I have been wrong before, which I admit as well, but in my short time here I know I have caused way more good than harm. I too have learned many things from this site and it is a tool more valuable than any one in my toolbox.
