I must admit I have never experienced a Hurricane but I'm sure it's something like a blizzard with 80 mph winds and temperatures exceeding -40 F !! I'd take the winter blizzard over the wet hurricane . BTW: Where we are located, we don't have earthquakes either  ------------- Jeff

As of 4 AM this morning, this one has 110 MPH maximum sustained winds https://www.the12volt.com/images4/lili.jpg As of 10 AM, 120 MPH maximum sustained winds , Gusts over 150 MPH..... As of 1 PM, 135 MPH maximum sustained winds....

Ok12volt.. you busted me.. That's me from Mobile One in Late 80's....Who's this? Lili now at 140... this going to be a killer storm... I liveon the Northshore (long commute, but better than living in BR.. Just glad Idon't live on the westbank no more! Hear the Traffic is a bitch getting out of New Orleans now.. Looks like we made out ok over on this end of the state. Our friends on the other side didn't fair to well..
My overhead didn't showup so we went home before it got bad.. Doing it right now as a matter of fact.. See how hard installers work!

We made out okay here as well, just a few downed trees and some street flooding. Those south of us on the lakefront had about three feet of water in their homes.

We got another one lurking to the east of us (Florida) "Kyle" they have it tracked to make a u turn and come to the east of Florida near Ft. Lauderdale. This one had been hanging out in the sea for some time now.  By next Saturday one computer says that it will be here. ------------- Sound Pressure
