My 93 Explorer wouldn't start so after some testing I pulled the fuel pump. I tested teh fuel pump and it works but is not getting power at the connector. I have visually inspected all of the fuses but I don't have the owners manual to see which reference number on the underdash fuse panel goes to which accessory,. any help would be apprediated.

Find the wire that engages the fuel pump and hard wire ( or piggy back ) a new ignition wire to this wire. The fuel pump engages when the ignition is on and so you are only replicating this action with a new igniton wire. Fuse this new connection and place in the fuse box in an empty slot.

I did something very similar to your suggestion. I piggy backed a wire and ran it to direct power with a switch. I will replace the switch with a relay, when I have the time and fuse it. I don't have enough room in my fuse block but an inline fuse will do. I didn't run it direct to the ignition wire because I'm unsure of the current draw and don't want to overload any wires coming into my fuse block. I just hope that by running a piggy back I don't burn out something in my computer module. Thank you for the suggestion.

did you check the fuel shut off safty switch?
