Since it has got colder, I can't hardly get my switch to turn early in the morning. After I turn it the first time, it turns normal till the next day again. The last 2 days it was in the 20's and I had a real hard time turning it. Does anybody have any ideas on this problem? The car is a 85 Supra.

Wouldn't WD40 or  3 - in -1  oil harm the electrical parts in the switch? I have thought about trying one of these, but I'm not sure if it would hurt something or not.

Well I didn't say flood it but maybe. How about some white lithium grease, you should be able to find this at rat shack.

I'll try taking it out like you suggested, swamprat323. The worst thing is getting the steering wheel off. I'll have to get a puller. That might be all it needs.
