This site is great, and i spend more time on here, and post for on here than I do on any other message board, car audio or otherwise. As much as I love this site, I think it could be even better.

Everyone on here loves car audio, but that’s not all we are interested in, or like talking about. So how about a Off Topic section?? In this section anything could be discussed. Every other car audio message board site has an Off Topic section and more often then not they are the most frequently posted in. Usually the people that are knowledgeable, and have a lot of posts on the forums spend the most time in these OT boards.

I also thought a music forum could be added where people could discuss new music, old music, good bass songs, write cd reviews or whatever.

I realize we have the General Discussion and Miscellaneous sections, but those sections get very few posts, most of which are technical, or car electronic related questions.

We have MANY smart, interesting and funny people on this site and I think a OT section would be a great addition to the site.

I believe it's confusing to a new member when they look along the menu on the left side of the page to find where they should post.  As you can see, everything is listed in alphabetical order.  It would work more efficiently if the topics were listed according to the highest interest of the user... for example, Forums could lead the list with Car Audio on top, followed by General Discussion, etc. in the order that they are "hit".  Vehicle information is tapped a lot and should follow next, and then on down to calculators and references.

There are a lot of times that members who have been active here are still confused looking for something in that left column menu.  Alphabetizing is not always the best way to go.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

The only person who can change this is you.

Well it looks like you got your wish. The misc forum was renamed misc/off topic.
