Hey, I work at A diamond Mine, and I am a haul truck driver. I want to get a sirius satelite radio, the one that hooks up to the cigarette lighter, and then is transmitted and picked up by the vehicle radio. The haul truck has a built in radio/cd player, but the truck has a 24Volt system. And it doesnt have a cigarette lighter. So what i want to do is buy a cigarette lighter at Canadian tire, and make a little thing that it can fit into, so when i take it to work, all The mechanic has to do is wire the 2 wires in.

So because the truck has a panasonic cd player, little cheap one, im guessing its running 12 volts, so im guessing i dont have to do anything to get it from 24->12 volts. I just have to add a 30 amp fuse, i think it is. and im set, does this sound right?

If anyone has any input or advice, please let me know, thanks.

More then likely all that will have to be tied into is the radio's wiring. Worse case scenario, buy a 24-12 converter. No big deal at all.

So, Could you mail me a nice sized diamond??? Please?????
