This is more for the mods.......is it possible that we can upgrade to either a phpBB or vbulletin forum? Now im only suggesting something, not complaining. Is there enough money being donated to possibly upgrade? If there isnt, id be happy to donate something along with others who feel the same way, only if we switch to another forum board. Feel free to comment good or bad.

Thanks

Personally, I like this board myself ( less flashy crap ) & the information is what's the most important, not how a forum looks. That's my opinion, but we'll see what the admin has to say about this.

I agree with that its good because its less flashy. I could care less about better smilies, avatars, and etc. Most of the people on here are respectful, unlike some forums where alot of disputes happen. But every once in awhile....I have logging in problems, quotes get messed up, double posting, and other problems. Ive seen other people with the same problem and its not just my computer. I use another and the same problems. It happens every once in awhile. I dont have these problems on other forums. Other than that, I like the forum and its very useful. Im sure some other people feel the same way, but are too scared to speak up because maybe they will get shot down.

Personally, I love the look and feel of this website and its forums.  I hate those other forums.  HATE THEM.  Please keep this exactly as it is, mods.  I guess I'm just used to the way this place works, but I almost never have a problem.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

This is something I've been contemplating for some time. If any changes are made to this forum, it will be to the back end of this application. The GUI will remain the same. In the meantime, if you do encounter any problems, please post your issues here and I'll be happy to do what I can to resolve them.

The only thing that personally I would like would be a darker background. The error 500's and login problems are so few and far between that they don't even bother me.

Content>looks.

The vbulletin search engine sucks. This one has a great search function. Easy to navigate too.

I like the way the forum is setup right now. I would like to see more non car audio things discussed in the Misc/Off Topic section. Similar to the Off Topic section of sounddomain (the only area I regularly vist on that forum).

Keep the place the way it is I have had very few problems and Have recieved alot more information. The information I have recieved out weigh the faults in the site. 12volt leave it the same.
