How can you install window tint on a car without it bunching up? I made the cutout and when installing the tint it starts to bunch up and overlay is there a way to get the tint installed flat without bunching up? there are no air bubbles just this overlapping.

Sep 1: lots of soapy water. get a spray bottle fill it up with water and dish soap, dawn my choice.

use the water first to clean the window spray it down and use a razor to clean it off like a squege. that will keep u from getting little tiny dirt bubbles. next spray a window u arent tinting and stick tint to that window while u peel it. keep spraying the tint as u peel it keep it soaked.this way it stays stuck to window with sticky side out when u have it peeled soak the window u are tinting andthe tint again keep it wet, thin u can move it around on window and get it where u want it then start squegeing from the miidle out in all directions till no bubbles and u should be looking good. ps keep it wet!

ok there is no problem with bubbles just that over lapping
yea and it did seem like the water dries up fast and it gets hard to move the tint around you you end up with a lump.

Are you tinting in the shade or in the sun? This will make a big difference in drying time.

Im in the opening not directly in the sun.
I made the cutout of the window from the outside then applyed the tint but then the tint is not slidding on the glass so I have to lift the tint again but then parts dry causing folds in the tint. im using shampoo but its fast and does not leave the slippyness, should I dish soap?

Dish soap is much better or you can go to Wal Mart in the automotive section there is a solution called tint on for like $3. It is a concentrated solution that you mix with water.I prefer using this over soapy water for the main reason when it dries there is no residue left on the window unlike soapy water.

so baby shampoo is ok its thick. maybe I had more water then shampoo. If I use the dish soap will it remove the adhesive? I got a 24oz bottle I should use more baby shampoo then water. when I spray it does not stay so long it drips so fast and its not soapy like the dish soap.
I will check it out at walmart.

Is it ok to use extra shampoo instead of 1/4 like what the tint box says to use?

just do the RIGHT thing and go to walmat and buy the tint stuff. dont worrie if you put to much on let it drip you can clean it up after words. tint goes on beter when the tint and the window is wet as hell.
