i can not seem to find the starter cylinoid in my vehicle.  if someone can tell me where it is or has a diagram please let me know either by forum or email.

If it's a manual tranny vehicle, get someone to turn the key over without pressing the clutch and listen for the clicking sound of the starter. You will find it that way if you don not get a reply.

Just about every GM vehicle I've seen has the starter solenoid attached to the starter motor, which is mounted on the bottom of the engine where it meets the transmission. If you're looking for a wire that goes to it, there will be a yellow wire coming from the ignition switch.
