Can any one tell me the name of the connector for the power supply on a PS2 SLIM Model?

It is the Female version!

Im not sure of the correct name. You should be able to pick both of them up at a electronics store/hobby store.

the technical term wold be a coaxial power connector. you can find them at companies like www.mouser.com or Radio Shack but you need to know the size. ( like 2.1mm x 5.1mm or 1.7mm x 4.5mm ) The picture is small and it really hard to see the connector. You probably will have to try out the plug to see if it fits. sometimes they are proprietary( like anything SONY makes) and you have to order the connector from the manufacturer, if they even sell it,if not you will have to by the whole power supply and chop of the plug.. good luck.. posted_image
