I start reading a post.....  EVERYTHING WORKS FINE, EXCEPT

this, that, another this, some of that....etc.....

might as well say, NOTHING WORKS, EXcept,

I have 12V and GND hooked up.....lol

DIY Remote starter and alarm installers usually scare me.  The installs are a mess, rarely work 100% of the functions,etc....

Not true for all of them, but I do believe the majority.  You should see things that come through my shop for fixing after DIY ATTEMPTS!

Don't know about your part of the country, but here that's all there is. We constantly run ads for installers and all we get are DIY installers...

OhioMike1101,Mike M2,

I hear you guys.

I personnaly love DIY! They help paid my bills so it's a plus there. Most DIY thinks it's easy, but many fail badly. Life seem to balance things out in the end.
A lot of installers turn them away because they are extreamly CHEAP creature. Personnally, I charge them more than enough for my time cause from experience I know they will be back. These are the type of people who will dick around afterwards with your work to see how it was done correctly in the first place. Sometimes you get paid twice for the same install, so it great and I LOVE IT!

DIY's are dangerous, i got zapped by some bad wiring a couple months ago. Had a bad burn on my hand.
