After installing stereos from 1973-1997 my back can't hang.Best of luck to u new skool kids,I prefer the old skool tunes,bi-polar,cassette,tubes.My best experience was waiting 4 a 1947 mercury tube am radio to warm up after I spent 4 hours getting at the dash speaker and replacing it with a modified Telefunken speaker. The look at this 98 year old gentlemens face made my day,The boss was gone,so was any attempt  to charge him.I ate the speakerinstallation charge off my commission.I think the best thing about my job was driving any vehicle known to mankind,My flavourite was always the 600Mercedes series.Same acceleration as a Piper or Cessna. If u have an old skool problem i might be able to help but  no post 1994 problems.I am one of the first installers certified by Installation News.

My hats' off to you my friend!  After being in the auto industry for 43 yrs. myown self I have found it harder to get upside down under the dash also !   These newer imports are just not made for those of us over 50 and 6'2" tall. (ever cram it in to a honda civic..........OUCH !)        If you've retired my hats off to you..........I don't think I'll live that long !

I love restoring vintage radios now. With 1958 vette radios going 4 2 grand my back feels pretty good.I have a Aiwa TP-1023 underdash cassette ready to go in a MINT 1970 Charger,440/6 pk.for a good buddy. He says lets go and test his new multanova radar detector when i'm done. The last run was 172 mph on my SUN speedometer. No digging, counsole back installation.Factory AM fine after a new antenna.
