I've been wanting to hide the command bar in IE7 since I installed it and just found this solution. Enjoy ;)
1. regedit
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\CommandBar
3. Create a new DWORD called Enabled with Value 0
4. close regedit and open IE7 --> Command bar is hidden!

And here's one to move the menus to the top ;)
1. regedit
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser
3. Create a new DWORD called ITBar7Position with Value 1
4. close regedit and open IE7 --> Menu bar is on top!
