Hey all     Where can a guy buy a selection of blade style resistors and also diodes? Anybody have a vendor  or a websight that may sell a kit containing multiple ranges of resistors? Really hope to find blade style that resemble a fuse and be installed in fuse holders.  Any help would be awesome.  Email me back hugo5905@hotmail.com

I know astro start sells the fuse style ones www.astroflex.com but you would have to purchase through an authorised dealer I think.

What do you mean by "blade style", I looked through my ref books I have here, and talked to a couple co-workers of mine, no one has heard diodes or resisters referred to by that name?  Is it slang, do they have some specific type of tolerance levels or power/current rating that is desired?  What type of diodes are you looking for?  Fwd Biased, reverse biased, zener??? To do what operation???

Blade style as/in like  the mini fuses.Resistor that are in the shape of a mini fuse to fit in an inline fuse holder. On the new Saturn Ion to get around the pass lock system you need to install a resistor to match the resistance of the passlock  switch.Granted I can just solder in a " Regular style" resistor but it seem that may be a weak link due to road viberation ect.  Also looking for a diode the same shape for inline fuse holder.Saturn does make a diode in this shape for their a/c system  but they are expensive and would like to buy bulk and not individual. Just looking for quick install time that is clean and tight. Thanks for your help so far however
