Yo ima newb here and didnt see a topic for welcomes so i just wonted to say whats up here. Im into import racing but have always loved sound and i just got a 97 Blazer and plan on doing some Fiberglass work to it.

Hello Poundin, welcome to the forum.  For reference, the stickied thread called "Who's Who" is for telling about yourself.  As a suggestion you will find that people will respond more to posts that use proper spelling.  I personally will usually pass on a thread if I can't read it.  Anyway, I can't wait to see your project come along.  Please feel free to ask if you have any questions!

sorry i didnt see the who's who thread and i talk with slang so i type with slang. thats just how i am and this isnt a spelling B.

That's all find and dandy, but here spelling is a big thing because more often than not, if the person here isn't fluent in slang (or txt talk) they'll pretty much completely ignore your post and for those who are fluent, 90% of the time they'll be annoyed with it and not respond.

Spelling counts here because often the information passed along (such as Qs, S/T numbers, etc.) are already coded for "industry standard" the last thing people need on here is to essentially learn a new language to talk to you.

That being said, Welcome to the 12v

LOL  <-- sorry im still using slang. but im not good at spelling so i guess im not much help and yes i can understand how the industry stanard is important but slang or Text talk as you call it is alot of the internet. if you dont beleave me then how did all these abreviations start? Chat rooms. im not tryin to be an ass but all i wonted to say was HI and i dont wont to mess up the forum im here to learn a few things for myself and maybe do a little project on the side here and there.

Welcome to the forum, there is are good sites out there on the internet for learning and discussing, etc.., but this is home for me, and thousands of others.
