anyone use any proxyworkarounds at work to get to these forums

It's gonna be up to your administrator. If you can get THROUGH the proxy, you should be able to access the forums with no issue.

If you CAN'T get to the forums, then your corporate firewall includes this as an an "unallowed" address; "unallowed", by not being specifically allowed.
