The money can only be "so good" unless YOU purchase a plotter to cut the stuff yourself.

Worked at a tint shop for several years, we did a few.....but, like I said paying for the product pre-cut and not selling too much of it (cause it costs so darn much) you never really gain

the skills to have any consistancy in the job quality. If you feel like jumping in....practice on white cars...FORGET the darker colors.

I believe the pre-cutting is a thing the of past. They are now pre-cut (vehicle specific) and much thinner than before. They just heat the edges, it's a much more simplified job.

As far as making money, I think this all depends on location, and who you know. In my area, there are Ferrari/Maserati, Porsche, BMW, M. Benz, and Audi dealerships all within a few mile radius, you do the math....

I know people who do it and are in with dealerships make tons of money doing it. They run 4 employees to cover a group of 9 dealers. They are busy all day m-s.
