well ive checked the fuses, but for some reason i have only 3 of my 4 fan speeds for the heater/ac, i can move it from spot 1/2/3/4 but 3/4 are the same speed, i spoke with a few ppl and they said it was a relay... idk if it is or not, but would it be expensive to have my mechanic replace? its been like this a year, and im positive it isnt a loose wire cuz then none of the fan speeds would work, and its not the switch either had that replaced already, so that leaves the relays...

Im not sure about ford but some chevy and dodge blower motor setups have resistor packs to limit current to the blower motor to regulate speed, usually found in the duct by the blower motor (for cooling purposes). If three and four are both high speed (if theres a BIG difference between speed two and three/four) then I would suspect a shorted resistor on speed three.
